National Emerging Leaders Economic Forum 2024.

Earlier this year, I was honored to receive an invitation from VODEC AFRICA, a non-profit organization spearheading excellent youth initiatives in Ghana as one of the speakers for the National Emerging Leaders Economic Forum (NELEF), which convened over 2000 youth across various professions, academic institutions, Leaders of industries and leaders in Government. Speaking on the topic, “The role of the youth in leading national discourse”, I admonished the youth to realize the need to add value to themselves as the first step to consolidating their voice to be opened up to the influence of the nations to be able to contribute significantly to the national discourse.

Additionally, I charged the youth to be politically engaged in all conversations at the local and national level in other for their concerns to translate into policy positions.

Finally, I encouraged the youth to seek mentorship from the expertise of key industry players as a strategic way of value addition. The only way to address the gaps in current social problems was to learn from those who have already started solving the problems that matter to them so that they can have the insight to scale better solutions in the future
